Abstract:
It’s been said that leadership is not about being in charge; leadership is about taking care of those in your charge. In spite of the technical expertise a PM may possess, if they lack the ability to understand their and their team members’ interior lives project success rates will suffer. As emotional intelligence is developed within the leader, emotional intelligence will increase around the leader.
Attendees will learn:
- The key hindrances to self-awareness
- The difference between transactional and transformational leadership
- How to manage the emotional weather system around projects
