July Knowledge Sharing, 7/24/14, 6:30pm to 9:00pm, Elk Grove Village Library, with Scott Stribrny:

"Applying Agile Project Management at Enterprise Scale: Tackling the Tough Issues of Team, Program and Portfolio"

The first decade of agile project management practices emphasized small co-located teams. In its second decade the increasing popularity of agile and the dramatic published results has grown attempts to apply practices at much larger scale, with multi-team cross-functional programs becoming the reality.

This knowledge sharing session led by experienced agile expert Scott Stribrny of group Atlantic, Inc. explores how to proactively manage inter-team dependencies, conduct iteration/release planning, and coordinate work, whether you have two teams or twenty. Explore the unique challenges facing distributed teams and understand how to overcome them. Leave with practical advice you can begin to apply immediately.

If interested, please register at PMI-Chicagoland.org, select Events, with daytime phone, name, and 1 - 3 questions on “Agile Project Management at the Enterprise Scale”. If you are having issues with the website, send  an e-mail to Pmgroup@pmi-chicagoland.org

Hope to see you there!
